Judges 1:1-3:30

In these verses I can plainly see the importance of obedience to God. I need to just be quiet, still, patient, and listen to what He is telling me. He has a plan and a purpose for me, and the result will be more magnificent then what I could ever imagine or fulfill on my own. When left to my own accord it is easy to become anxious and frustrated when all I need to do is ....." let go, and let God!"
In this day and age it is so easy for us to serve other Gods, but He has promised never to forsake us if you obey His voice...
Deuteronomy 4:27-31
27 And the Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you. 28 And there you will serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. 29 But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30 When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice 31 (for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.

I am a work in progress, and God accepts me and loves me despite all of my flaws. He considers me His masterpiece...Wow!
Ephesians 2:10
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (NLT)
Everything I am is all shaped by the master as part of His plan. The only opinion that matters is God’s. The only opinion of me that truly is significant is not what people say about me, or what I see in the mirror, it is how God sees me.
You my friend, are also a masterpiece as we were both created in the very image of God.....
Genesis 1:27
“So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
Our God is so good!

Hope your day is blessed!

  1. How thankful I am that He has reconnected us - and IN Him! The more I am into His Word - it brings me wisdom to see that all that really matters is Him. What a burden that has lifted from myself. I still at times find myself concerned about what someone may think of me, etc., but more often than not I find myself hearing His verses (as you shared too) tell me truth. His truth. I love Psalm 139. Until tomorrow!
